Incoloy 825/UNS N08825
ncoloy 825 (Alloy 825 / UNS N08825 / W.Nr. 2.4858) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy enhanced with molybdenum (2.5–3.5 %), copper (1.5–3.0 %), and titanium (0.6–1.2 %) — a chemistry deliberately engineered for sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and sour gas service. The Mo + Cu combination delivers outstanding resistance to reducing acids, while Cr maintains performance in oxidizing media, making 825 one of the most versatile corrosion alloys in the Fe-Ni-Cr family.
Incoloy 825 is the industry standard for sulfuric and phosphoric acid plants, and one of the most cost-effective NACE MR0175-compliant nickel alloys for sour oil & gas service. Specified in chemical reactors, evaporators, FGD systems, sour well downhole tubing, nuclear fuel reprocessing, and pickling equipment worldwide.
